Definitely can relate to that from past experience. I also believe empty vessels can present themselves in a loud way, with material objects which scream notice me (overly lavish cars and clothing items). Meanwhile, people who feel while and comfortable within themselves glow and need to say very little to be noticed. Their actions and accomplishments are their speakers.
