I posted this recipe on my personal social media and so many friends and family reached out for the recipe and even people I haven’t met. So the easiest option for me was to just post the recipe. The cake was honestly, probably the nicest carrot cake I have ever tasted, truly and so I just had to share it.

Ingredients
450 ml of cream cheese
400g of regular flour
2tsp of bicarbonate soda
550g of sugar
5 eggs
½ tsp of salt
2 and ½ tsp of cinamon
525g of grated carrot
150g of peeled walnuts
Cream cheese ingredients
200g philadelphia
150g of sugar
100g of butter



Method
Mix together the ingredients apart from carrots and walnuts together.
The add them together and place it in the oven for 1 hour and 5 minutes
While the cake is baking, whisk together the cream cheese, sugar and butter.
Let the cake cool and enjoy!
