I wish people would understand that Feminism is JUST and I repeat JUST the belief that men and women are EQUAL, not superior, not that they should be pitted against eachother, just equal. It’s the social, economical and political equality of the sexes. If you think your mum, your sister, your grandma, partner or child deserves to be paid the same as her male counterpart, deserves to be able to vote just like her male counterpart and deserves to feel safe and as an equally valued part of society, then you my friend are a feminist.
Frankly, I would go as far as to say most people, or at least all the decent people in this day and age would agree with this and thus there are so unknowing feminists out there.
What we really need to do however, is as well as hold this basic humane belief, is to at the bare minimum be a supportive Allie for one another. Simply, speaking up when you see a women being mistreated, or support your female colleague if it is apparent that she u justly has a lower pay check at the end of the month. And extremely importantly, voting for political leaders who share your point of views and who rally for social justice in all its entities, regardless of their gender.
I hope this inspires you to as always be the best version of yourself, and be as good of a human as possible. The better we all are individually as people, the better society will be. Consequently, resulting in a better life for all of us.
