A fun list I found on FluentU titled, “Next-level Vocab: 24 Advanced French Words for Your Climb to Fluency”. Regardless, of what level you’re on, you can learn these to increase your vocabulary and perhaps seem more fluent than you are 😉

affubler – to get up in, to deck oneself out in
émoustiller– To excite, to render playful.
écoper – To bail out water
colimaçon – Escargot or snail.
abnégation – Self-denial, self-sacrifice.
rocambolesque – Fantastic, extraordinary, unbelievable.
abracadabrantesque– Ludicrous, incredible (as in lacking credibility)
abracadabrant– Bizarre, weird, befuddling.
boursouflé – Swollen, puffed up.
exécrable – Detestable, appalling, heinous.
